OnSite & Virtual Programs

Programs offered by Zoo New York are designed to foster education through exploration within our Northern New York Community.  We have many different programs and opportunities here at the Zoo.  Check out a few of them below!

Wild-lings!

Wild-lings is our new program section featuring activities for our little ones.  It allows them to explore the world around them with their parents through stories, crafts/activities, and animal experiences!

More information will be made available for 2020-2021 as it becomes available.  You can now visit our Wild-lings page for more information.

EdZOOcation Programs| On-Site & Virtual

During our 30 minute on-site EdZOOcation programs, groups gather in our classroom to learn about wildlife biology and ecology through up-close encounters with our Animal Ambassadors.  In the virtual adaptation to this program, we present from our classroom to you through ZOOM or other video applications.

Zoo New York is proud to present Educational Programming that meets New York State curriculum standards. The Zoo currently offers 2 age-specific program options for both on-site and off-site EdZOOcation bookings.  We will work with teachers and educators to provide the best program for your group.  We are continually striving to create more opportunities for education.  Please contact our Education Department with any questions.

Our program options may be adapted for all age groups and are limited to participation by no more than 25 individuals per session.
