Let us come to you!

Zoo New York offers educational demonstrations of our animal ambassadors to help foster an appreciation for wildlife and to increase awareness of our surrounding environments.

This program option is available for schools, libraries, community centers, local events/festivals, and other educational venues. Our Educators will arrive at your location with our animal ambassadors and are able to provide age-appropriate programs to suit your needs.

Zoo New York is proud to present Educational Programming that meets New York State curriculum standards. The Zoo currently offers 2 age-specific program options for both on-site and off-site EdZOOcation bookings. Our program options may be adapted for all age groups and are limited for participation by no more than 25 individuals per session.

Wild Wonders (grades 3-5)

An interactive program that introduces children to the wonderful world of wildlife. The Wild Wonders program includes educational presentations with discussions about species characteristics, natural behaviors, and how we are all connected through the balance of ecosystems. There are opportunities for Q/A and the program concludes with the option for participants to create lasting memories through direct connection with our Animal Ambassadors.

Creature Culture (grades 6-8)

An interactive program that introduces young minds to the complexity of our natural world. The Creature Culture program includes educational presentations with discussions about animal adaptations, predator/prey relationships, and conservation initiatives. There are opportunities for Q/A and the program concludes with the option for participants to create lasting memories through direct connection with our Animal Ambassadors.

Booth Presentations

Booth presentations are ideal for festivals, corporate events, environmental events, and more! These presentations include a table set-up with information about the Zoo, biofacts such as furs & skulls for participants to explore, and 2-3 animal ambassadors to meet up close!
