FIELD TRIPS
Groups of 10+ enjoy Field Trip admission pricing at the Zoo!
- Bring your group to learn and play together in beautiful Thompson Park, surrounded by native wildlife and passionate Educators!
- Including allowing your group to explore the Zoo at their own pace, we also offer on-site EdZOOcation programs and Guided Tours
- These trips are allowed during our regular business hours, please check current hours for your planned trip date.
Field Trip Admission:
- $5.50 / youth
- $7.75 / adult
+ 1 complimentary adult admission per 10 youth
- Program Admission:
- $5.50 / youth
- $7.75 / adult
(not included in field trip fee)
Guided Tour: $35 Flat Rate up to 15 guests. Add 10 add’l guests at $2 each. Please no more than 20 youth per group.

Onsite EdZOOcation Programs
During our 30 minute on-site EdZOOcation programs, groups gather in our classroom to learn about wildlife biology and ecology through up-close encounters with our Animal Ambassadors.
Zoo New York is proud to present Educational Programming that meets New York State curriculum standards. The Zoo currently offers 2 age-specific program options for both on-site and off-site EdZOOcation bookings.
Our program options may be adapted for all age groups and are limited to participation by no more than 25 individuals per session.
Wild Wonders (grades K-4)
An interactive program that introduces children to the wonderful world of wildlife. The Wild Wonders program includes educational presentations with discussions about species characteristics, natural behaviors, and how we are all connected through the balance of ecosystems. There are opportunities for Q/A and the program concludes with the opportunity for participants to create lasting memories through direct connection with our Animal Ambassadors.
Creature Culture (grades 5-8)
An interactive program that introduces young minds to the complexity of our natural world. The Creature Culture program includes educational presentations with discussions about animal adaptations, predator/prey relationships, and conservation initiatives. There are opportunities for Q/A and the program concludes with the opportunity for participants to create lasting memories through direct connection with our Animal Ambassadors.
